Junior Quantity Surveyor (Interior Fit-Out)

About the Role
We are a dynamic interior design and fit-out firm specializing in high-end commercial and residential projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will support the commercial department in managing project costs, ensuring that our high-quality design standards are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and bill of quantities for fit-out tenders.
• Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs from architectural and M&E drawings.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials like joinery, finishes, and false ceilings.
• Prepare subcontractor payments and assist in the evaluation of variation orders.
• Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost reporting to senior management.
• Attend site meetings to record progress and verify work done for interim valuations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of working experience in the interior fit-out or construction industry.
• Familiarity with fit-out cost components (joinery, glass, flooring, M&E) is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with QS software (e.g., Masterbill, CostX) is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Own transport and willingness to travel to project sites.
