The Role

As a Quantity Surveying Graduate, you will join our Commercial team and gain practical experience across the full project lifecycle, supporting the commercial management of major M&E projects.

Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, you will develop your understanding of cost control, procurement, subcontract management, valuations, variations and project reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to develop a long-term career within the construction and engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quantity Surveying team with project cost control and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of valuations, applications for payment and cost reports.
  • Support the management of subcontractor accounts and payments.
  • Assist with reviewing contracts, variations and commercial documentation.
  • Support procurement activities and analysis of project costs.
  • Assist with tracking project budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with project, procurement, estimating and finance teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment.
  • Previous construction experience is advantageous but not essential.
