  • Developing data visualizations, reports, and analytical outputs to communicate research findings.
  • Maintaining documentation related to data sources, methodologies, assumptions, calculations, and analytical frameworks.
  • Supporting risk-related investigations and analytical initiatives across multiple business and risk disciplines.
  • Assisting with presentations, reports, and briefing materials that summarize analytical findings and recommendations.
  • Participating in strategic projects that enhance Coastal Community's risk analytics and risk measurement capabilities.

What are we looking for?

  • Completion of a diploma or university degree in a related discipline. Education in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related analytical field is preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience in quantitative analysis, data analytics, statistical analysis, research, data science, finance, economics, actuarial science, engineering, risk management, or a related analytical field.
  • Experience conducting quantitative analysis, statistical modelling, data analysis, research, or analytical problem-solving activities.
  • Knowledge of statistics, probability, mathematical modelling, risk measurement, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Python, SQL, R, Power BI, Excel, or similar technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and documentation skills.

Ideally, you are a curious and detail-oriented analytical professional with:

  • Strong quantitative reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and statistical analysis techniques.
  • The ability to translate complex quantitative concepts into practical business insights.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute across a broad range of analytical initiatives.

If you enjoy working with data, testing assumptions, exploring complex problems, and helping organizations make better decisions through analysis, you'll be a great fit with us.
