Fasanara Digital is a quantitative investment team applying a scientific, high frequency investment style in digital assets, seeking to achieve exceptional risk-adjusted returns for our investors. We were founded in 2018 and have grown to a 30-person strong team, managing over $500m USD in a basket of fully delta-neutral trading strategies. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds. We are fully dedicated to building out our globally deployed, 24/7 availability trading platform, which allows us to capture trading opportunities on >15 crypto liquidity venues, and maintain our position as one of the top trading firms in the crypto industry.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Quantitative Researcher work directly with our portfolio managers and senior researchers. This role offers you the opportunity to be part of a high performing team on an exciting trajectory, recently winning multiple high profile industry awards. You will be designing, analysing and implementing new trading strategies as well as improving existing ones with alpha research and signals.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Research and develop alpha signals with predictive power over short-term horizons.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of price models, quoting models, and trading logic for live strategies.
• Perform post-trade and execution analysis to identify inefficiencies and improve decision-making.
• Monitor live strategies and deliver data-driven improvements to increase performance and PnL.
• Build and improve research infrastructure, including alpha libraries, backtesting frameworks, and analytical tooling.

What excites us in a candidate

• You have 3+ years of experience in quantitative research or systematic trading.
• You have worked in HFT, market making, or execution-focused roles at a top buy-side firm.
• You are highly comfortable working with order book data and exchange trading mechanics.
• You have a strong interest in crypto markets; direct crypto experience is a plus, but not essential.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by solving complex trading and market structure problems.
