What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain the machine learning platform infrastructure to support data scientists and researchers in developing, training, and deploying models at scale.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers to translate complex model requirements into robust, production-ready systems.
• Develop and maintain backend infrastructure components that are widely used across various product and engineering teams.
• Build systems with a strong emphasis on performance, availability, and low-latency requirements.
• Contribute to the development of experimentation frameworks and A/B testing infrastructure to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code primarily in Python and C++, driving technical best practices within the team.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend and infrastructure systems.
• Proven experience in building or maintaining machine learning platforms or infrastructure in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++, with a track record of delivering scalable engineering solutions.
• Deep knowledge of backend infrastructure engineering, including system design and distributed systems.
• Experience collaborating directly with data scientists and researchers to create impactful engineering solutions.

Preferred

• Previous experience at companies known for engineering excellence, such as Meta, Uber, or Airbnb.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing systems, or marketplace infrastructure.
• Background in engineering domains such as pricing, monetization, or real-time product platforms.
