Job Description

Join a high-impact marketing analytics team where your insights shape how we invest across paid media channels. You will help turn complex data into clear recommendations that improve performance and efficiency.

As a Quant Analytics Associate at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking marketing analytics team, you deliver paid media measurement, reporting, and actionable insights by integrating internal data with third-party vendor and platform data. You partner with marketing, media, analytics, and finance stakeholders to explain performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support budget decisions. You build reliable, automated reporting with consistent definitions and strong data quality controls. You communicate what happened, why it happened, and what to do next through insight-rich readouts for business reviews and leadership requests.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze paid media performance across channels such as paid search, paid social, display, video, programmatic, affiliate, and partnerships
  • Measure core performance metrics and connect media activity to downstream business outcomes and conversions
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve campaign performance, audience strategy, and spend allocation
  • Build, maintain, and automate recurring dashboards and reporting using internal datasets and external vendor or platform feeds
  • Consolidate and reconcile multi-source data to produce consistent reporting and a clear source of truth
  • Validate data quality, troubleshoot discrepancies, and document metric definitions and methodologies
  • Translate analyses into clear insights, recommendations, and performance narratives for stakeholders
  • Support testing approaches such as A/B and incrementality measurement, including measurement planning and interpretation
  • Ensure vendor usage and data handling follow JPMorganChase privacy, security, and control standards, including required approvals

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, media analytics, or performance reporting in an in-house, agency, or vendor environment
  • Hands-on experience working with paid media platform data and third-party measurement or vendor datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, reconcile, and analyze large datasets with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data preparation
  • Advanced Excel skills for analysis and modeling
  • Experience with at least one business intelligence or visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable insights and stakeholder-ready readouts

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with major paid media and measurement platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, demand-side platforms, ad servers, and attribution partners
  • Working knowledge of marketing measurement concepts such as attribution, incrementality, A/B testing, return on ad spend, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment with strong data governance and reporting controls
