Job Description

  1. Conduct Welder qualifications for the new and existing Welder as per plan.
  2. Coordinate for testing and manage the detail action for the 4M (Man, Machine, Method, Material)
  3. Conduct tests such as checks for pipelines or strength tests for structural welds.
  4. Set-up robust supplier quality improvement system to ensure raw material supplier consistently provide qualified products.
  5. Responsible for improving quality of the raw material suppliers.
  6. Perform standard non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and issue reports, NDT(UT) level is 3 with ISO9712.
  7. Formulate a quality control plan for welded components and have the International Welding Engineer certificate.
  8. Handle and solve all the quality issues related to raw material and structural parts, in cooperation with internal customers.
  9. Support the manager and the project managers to achieve the projects’ indicators.
  10. Perform testing validation of the new welder, Upgrade the skill of the existing welder based on requirements
  11. Implement and monitor key performance indicators for suppliers /Inhouse to focus and drive performance based on Measurement of Performance-(SPPM, FPR, QCD).
  12. Review supplier’s progress against quality planning by visiting suppliers frequently and regularly and follow up with corrective actions for finding issues.
  13. Conduct training program for welder, fitter to provide awareness and build Quality culture
  14. Improvement plan for the reduction of CT, Efficiency on the welding machine
  15. Support purchase team to develop new material according to design requirement
  16. Create NDT instruction/map and training OC/worker for plant and sub-contractor, analyze and solve difficult problems in NDT
