Kraken Robotics is currently seeking a Quality Test Engineer to join our team in Rostock, Germany.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop test strategies, plans, and cases based on product requirements internal and external standards and statistics from product design till production readiness.
• Maintain and improve test environments, test benches, and automation infrastructure for ongoing production.
• Monitor key figures for product testing, from the qualification of individual parts to quality checks during ongoing production and provide support if needed.
• Own and manage required test equipment and environment, hardware and software configurations as well as the documentation for all test centers.
• Engage in test preparation discussions including the definition and organization of hardware (fixtures, PCB’s, sensors, interfaces) and software related topics.
• Participate in design and requirements reviews to assess testability and identify risks.
• Ensure traceability between product requirements, test cases and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma/master’s degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an electrical engineer, test or quality engineer, production engineer or in a comparable position.
• Experience with system and/or component validation.
• Ideally you have already gained work experience with HV battery systems.
• Experience in Software Development would be beneficial.
• Professional certification such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, considered an asset.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (min. B2)
• Self-driven and strong organizational skills to work on multiple projects alongside all of Kraken global offices
• Flexibility, team spirit and willingness to take responsibility

AUFGABEN UND VERANTWORTLICHKEITEN

• Entwicklung von Teststrategien, -plänen und -fällen auf der Grundlage von Produktanforderungen, internen und externen Standards sowie statistischen Daten – vom Produktdesign bis zur Produktionsreife.
• Pflege und Verbesserung von Testumgebungen, Prüfständen und der Automatisierungsinfrastruktur für die laufende Produktion.
• Überwachung von Kennzahlen für die Produktprüfung, von der Qualifizierung einzelner Bauteile bis hin zu Qualitätskontrollen während der laufenden Produktion, sowie Unterstützung bei Bedarf.
• Verantwortung und Verwaltung der erforderlichen Testausrüstung und -umgebung, der Hardware- und Softwarekonfigurationen sowie der Dokumentation für alle Testzentren.
• Teilnahme an Besprechungen zur Testvorbereitung, einschließlich der Definition und Organisation von Hardware (Vorrichtungen, Leiterplatten, Sensoren, Schnittstellen) und softwarebezogenen Themen.
• Teilnahme an Entwurfs- und Anforderungsbesprechungen zur Bewertung der Testbarkeit und zur Identifizierung von Risiken.
• Sicherstellung der Rückverfolgbarkeit zwischen Produktanforderungen, Testfällen und Ergebnissen.

QUALIFIKATIONEN UND ERFAHRUNG

• Diplom/Master-Abschluss in Elektrotechnik oder Mechatronik.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung als Elektroingenieur, Test- oder Qualitätsingenieur, Produktionsingenieur oder in einer vergleichbaren Position.
• Erfahrung mit der Validierung von Systemen und/oder Komponenten.
• Idealerweise haben Sie bereits Berufserfahrung mit Hochspannungs-Batteriesystemen gesammelt.
• Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung wäre von Vorteil.
• Berufliche Zertifizierungen wie Six Sigma oder Quality Engineer werden positiv bewertet.

GEWÜNSCHTE FÄHIGKEITEN

• Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch (C1) und Englisch (mind. B2)
