Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of AHF products at different stages—ranging from raw materials to final installation. This role ensures that the products are defect-free, comply with industry standards, and meet the company's quality expectations.
Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities:
• Visual and measurement tests and rejecting and returning unacceptable quality materials.
• Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to Quality Manager and Production supervisor.
• Approves products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests (with different quality tools), returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work, putting questionable quality products on hold, identifying and reporting waste.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Following and practicing AHF Quality Technician Training manual and take full responsibility for quality incidents at their work area
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
•Performing other duties as assigned by AHF Management

Education and Experience Requirements:
•High school diploma
•Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma
•Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
•One to two years’ quality inspector experience Special Requirements

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is occasionally exposed to wet, warm, humid, and cold temperatures.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds. The Quality Technician will direct report to Quality Manager.
