Responsibilities

Quality Technician Location: Coudersport, PA At Morgan, customer satisfaction isn’t just a priority—it’s a core value. We are seeking a detail oriented, hands-on Quality team member to take ownership of the materials and product testing requirements for a major customer with a new product line. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on performing detailed testing and report writing in an ISO environment within manufacturing. What You’ll Do

  • Perform all materials and product testing and inspection procedures, including Level 2 liquid penetrant certification testing under UV-A (365 nm) black light
  • Ensure high levels of internal & external customer service
  • Write brief reports summarizing test results
  • Develop familiarity with all quality requirements and manufacturing processes across the site
  • Coordinate multiple activities and tests concurrently
  • Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions related to quality including Preventive and Corrective Action requests
  • Uphold high levels of quality standards, inspection processes, and process improvement
  • Assist in process certification
  • Report out quality issues, trends and losses
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits
  • Support engineering efforts through participation in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer

What You Bring Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong general quality lab experience
  • Understanding of quality management systems in an ISO 9001/AS 9100 manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing/documenting procedures
  • Experience using quality engineering methods in testing, inspection and report writing
  • Proficiency in mathematics

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:High school graduate or equivalent and 3-5 years minimum experience in a quality lab. Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to pass an initial and annual eye exam in both vision and color capacities with the ability to acclimate your eyes to inspect in a dark room under UV-A light
  • Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)
  • Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (22 CFR §120.15.)
