Conduct quality checks and inspections on products and manufacturing machines according to checklists or inspection plans provided
Take decisions on the release or block of suspect or defective parts or products
Contribute to technical optimization of quality aspects in production or assembly processes assigned
Handle complaints and related cost and initiate corrective actions in cooperation with local operational quality management.
Support the preparation and conduction process of internal and external audits
Document inspection and audit results and findings in the respective IT systems
Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
Advanced computer knowledge and MS office skills
Basic knowledge of statistic and calculations preferred
Good visual acuity
Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
College or University degree in a technical discipline a plus
Multiple years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with IT and/or SAP systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
