Quality Technician

Watson Custom Tanks | Springfield, MO

Starting Pay: $26-$30/hr Based on Experience

Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30

Watson Custom Tanks is seeking a Quality Technician to support quality inspections, audits, testing, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing process. This role helps ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products, materials, and welds for quality and compliance
• Perform process audits, product testing, and product layouts
• Investigate quality issues and support problem-solving efforts
• Collect and analyze defect data
• Maintain gauges and inspection equipment
• Support containment and corrective action activities

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing, quality, or related experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of ASME standards and Syteline is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Work in confined spaces and at heights when needed
• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots
