KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer complaint system, retaining or increasing customer satisfaction and preventing problem recurrence; reducing their frequency. Work with Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Operations globally.
• Conduct or lead root cause analysis to discover and leverage cause/effect relationships.
• Maintain & evolve ISO9001 based quality management system; drive process capability and control improvements; maintain and improve documented processes.
• Work with people at all levels to reduce external and internal nonconformance with effective analysis, correction action, preventive action.
• Ensure organizational compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Complete data analysis and performance reports.
• Identify waste and drive efficiency utilizing Lean methodology.
• Manage weekly and monthly reports to maintain production control.
• Documentation development for work tools.
• Work tools training for correct use.
• Compliance with the Safety Health and Environmental policy as well as the global guidelines of our corporation and the internal guidelines of our company.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE
• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Sciences or other technical fields; alternately a AA degree with applicable experience
• 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, Internal audits, Supplier Quality, etc.
• Expertise in corrective action, preventive action, and continual improvement techniques bring about complaint reduction, improved capability, and goal realization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate, facilitate, persuade, and enable improvement at all levels of the organization, to bring about performance improvement results.
• Excellent Computer Literacy, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
• SAP ERP, Document Control, CAPA, etc. Ability to quickly learn software tools and utilize and collate information from multiple systems and sources.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Proactive in problem prevention and resolution
• Ability to participate in group discussions and offer constructive advice and actions to assist in a team environment
• An experienced Internal Auditor, e.g., ISO9001, identifying nonconformance and opportunities for improvement to ensure compliance and continual improvement
• Experienced and comfortable at facing external auditors, including ISO9001, Approvals auditors, UL, CSA, etc.
• Demonstration of personal development in professional quality engineering and management body of knowledge.
• Preferred skills & experience include:
• Root Cause Analysis, with ability to document detailed findings to drive and track corrective actions, including utilizing software tools, e.g., Intelex
• SAP or similar ERP Skills.
• Documenting and standardizing processes utilizing software tools, e.g., Dassault.
• ASQ CQE; CQA, Six Sigma; SPC.
• Manufacturing processes and testing based on NEC, IEEE and ATEX.
• Polymer technology/Manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing methodology.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Occasionally must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Walk, squat, reach above head, climb stairs and ladders, pull, push, grab, stoop or kneel frequently.
The ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Able to work in confined spaces.
Clearly and comfortably, view, interpret and process information within the department.
Using a computer monitor for extended periods during normal working hours is required.

Pay Transparency
Chemelex’s pay scale is based on the expected range of compensation for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range: $54,000 - $77,000
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
