Position Summary:
AGC Quality Technician is responsible for verifying operational quality and food safety parameters, conducting sanitation verifications, reviewing documentation for completion and timely notification of OOS conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Aid Adams Grain Lab/QC Leadership in day-to-day lab operations
- Perform all in process sampling and evaluation (grading/testing) of product on site; notify management of OOS products
- Provide coverage in the lab and scale house, as needed
- Send out samples for external testing as directed by management
- Perform probe sampling
- Perform instrument verifications as directed by management
- Gather plant and bin samples as needed
- Review job cards and batch documentation for plant runs.
- Review shipments and/or plant samples as needed or directed by management
- Conduct inbound/outbound trailer inspections
- Special Projects and other duties as assigned
- Perform internal audits including Bin Inspections as directed by management
- Compile and send samples when requested by lab manager or sales personal

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma, Minimum
- 1+ years in experience
Skills and Competencies:
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to analyze data and make determinations
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction and work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with ERP systems, word processing and spreadsheets
- Must be proficient in reading, speaking and writing in English for the purpose of record keeping, safety and quality training processes
Preferred

Qualifications:
- BS degree, preferred
Working Conditions:
- Available to work overtime including weekends as needed
- Willing to work in any of our operating locations (Woodland)
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at
