Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to ensure exceptional product and process standards in a fast-paced machining environment. In this role, you will inspect components for compliance with technical specifications, document quality metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position includes programming and operating measurement systems such as Mitutoyo CMMs using MCOSMOS software and utilizing Keyence IMX measurement systems for automated inspection. Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts to verify adherence to technical specifications.
    • Program and operate Mitutoyo CMM equipment using MCOSMOS software for dimensional inspection and reporting.
    • Utilize Keyence IMX systems for automated measurement and verification of components.
    • Document inspection results, non-conformance reports, and equipment/materials checks within the Quality Management System (QMS).
    • Perform incoming and outgoing product quality inspections to maintain high standards.
    • Support annual QMS audits, ensuring process documentation is updated and compliant.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience (candidates actively pursuing a technical or engineering degree are encouraged to apply).
    • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and auditing ISO systems.
    • Experience programming and operating Mitutoyo CMMs using MCOSMOS software.
    • Familiarity with Keyence IMX measurement systems and automated inspection technologies.
    • Strong knowledge of tooling design principles.
    • Expertise in inspecting components using manual and automated inspection equipment.
    • Advanced understanding of GD&T principles and their application in quality inspections.
    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate quality management software.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
