Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our expanding manufacturing site in Singapore. This role is responsible for incoming quality and sampling inspections for critical assemblies, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on optical components, mechanical fabricated parts, and cables.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) for optics and related assemblies.
• Follow established sampling plans, inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and complete inspection records, logs and reports.
• Assist engineers in the investigation of failures and defects in parts and components.
• Identify quality issues and recommend improvements to enhance inspection effectiveness.
• Support First Pass Yield improvement initiatives and assist in identifying root causes for manufacturing low Yield / quality issues.
• Apply continuous improvement concepts and techniques in daily work activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor based on business needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Quality inspection, Quality tech or related roles.
• ITE / Diploma or higher in engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documents.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.).
• Familiarity with optics metrology and laser testing will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
