At Prysmian Cables and Systems Ltd we are looking to strength our Quality department onsite and are looking to recruit a Quality Technician, who will report to the Senior Quality Engineer and will be responsible for:
Performing sample and routine quality inspection and checks in line with the product quality plans requirements and in timely manner.
Performing incoming raw materials inspections where necessary.
Conducting Quick Process Audits.
Documenting quality checks results and reporting any non-conformance identified.
Supporting all aspects of QA routine checks and other quality related activities.
Supporting Quality and Operations with ad-hoc requests when necessary.
The successful applicant will:
Have experience in manufacturing environment, have worked with testing and measuring equipment.
Have an ability to follow procedures with a strong focus on maintaining compliance.
Have experience working with Microsoft Excel, experience with POMS and SAP is adventurous.
Have excellent attention to details.
Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Have an ability to prioritise tasks and work under time pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Have a 'can do' attitude and a 'hands-on' approach.
This role will work Monday to Friday and be based in the factory.
