Are you detail-oriented, organized, and enjoy being part of a team that keeps production running smoothly? We’re looking for a Quality Technician to support our Quality team by ensuring parts, gauges, and documentation meet our high standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and values teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMMs).
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T symbols, and specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records per company and customer requirements.
- Identify nonconforming material and initiate appropriate containment, tagging, and documentation.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) related to quality issues.
- Assist with first article inspections (FAI) and setup approvals.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and work instructions.
- Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally to operators, supervisors, and quality leadership.
- Assist with internal audits, customer audits, and quality system activities as needed.
