Job Description

TheQuality Technicianisresponsible forensuring the quality of all products producedmeetagreed upon standards and expectations.

This job description lists major areas ofresponsibilityandadditionaljob activities may be added at any time.

Hours for this position are Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing,UPC scanners, paint thicknesstestersand other lab equipment

  • OperateCMM and VisionSystemInspection equipment

  • Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports(NCMR’s) daily, as needed

  • Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits

  • Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material

  • Ability to navigate document repository web page tolocateinspection reports,blue printsand other quality documents

  • Develop andmaintaineffective working relationships within team environment

  • Perform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion,arithmeticand units of measureconversion

  • Problem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions isrequired

  • Consciouslyabide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment

Education and Experience

  • High School or GED diplomarequired

  • One (1) year ofpreviousquality technicianexperiencerequired

  • Understanding of metrology fundamentals

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

  • Excellentoral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

  • Ability to read blueprints
