Summary/ Objective:
Provide technical support to the Quality Assurance and other departments.
Essential Functions (but are not limited to):
- Ensures safety of self and others by following all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing all required PPE
- Team Member Training
- Continuous training of current team members
- Coordinate daily activities of team members
- Team members audits
- Quality training for production departments
- Daily tool box meeting
- Everyday safety of team members
- New team member orientation
- Cost Reduction (Coordinate Kaizen meeting)
- Manage V-V Quality and sorting
- Support of all departments
- Coordinate part sorts (in-house and customer)
- Assist in adjustments to lines or presses
- Follow up on counter measures
- Coordinate pre-production activities
- Dealing with customers
- Standard quantity inventories
- Maintain C/F maintenance schedule
- Upkeep of quality documentation
- Act as Group Leader in absence of
- Daily reports to group leader
- Regular attendance is required
Other Duties:
Must be flexible to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish YKTA Goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Education, and

Experience:
- Previous quality experience, preferably automotive.
- Personal computer and software skills
Environment:
- Work is conducted in an industrial office/ plant setting.
- Frequent movement throughout an industrial plant environment being exposed to high noise levels and equipment normally used in stamping / welding/ Ecoat environments.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of standing on the plant floor.
- Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds at times.
