Job Description

Nestlé is looking for a Quality System Specialist to provide plant-based quality systems support, ensuring products meet food safety, regulatory, and consumer requirements. The role focuses on managing the Quality Monitoring Scheme, including sensory assessment, net content management, coding accuracy, and batch compliance. Responsibilities include non-conformance management, system health checks, and supporting compliant product release while driving continuous improvement across quality systems.

A day in the life

  • Promote product quality awareness across the plant and support capability building of operational teams in quality systems and execution.
  • Define, review, and maintain Quality Monitoring Schemes for all materials, including raw materials, packaging materials & finished goods, and establish annual product compliance monitoring plans.
  • Act as GLOBE QM Super User and Non-Conformance (NCC) Champion, ensuring effective system use and timely issue resolution.
  • Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence initiatives by driving zero-defect mindset through root cause analysis, DMAIC, and incident/near-miss management.
  • Ensure compliance with Nestlé Quality Management Systems and standards, including Net Content Control, Product & Process Release, and GLOBE QMS.
  • Manage the factory Document Management System (DMS), establish relevant SOPs, and ensure training and compliance across concerned teams.
  • Conduct quality audits, system health checks, traceability exercises, SPC/QStat activities, and verification of GFI, SAP health checks, and product release readiness.

What makes you successful

  • Food science (or related) graduate with a solid understanding of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in a factory or quality environment (Quality, Production Support, R&D/PTC, or Market Quality roles).
  • Proven involvement in quality assurance programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience contributing to project teams and supporting change or improvement efforts.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and build peer networks within factories and markets.
