Job Description

• The ISO 9001 Quality Systems Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and administration
• of Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard.
• This role ensure that quality processes are effective and consistently implemented.
• All actions must drive continuous improvement.
• A key function of this position is to lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of Quality Systems Specialist to achieve departmental and Quality objectives, to offer service deliverables and consistent excellence.

1. Administration and Supervision of all Quality Management Documents on SharePoint and Smartsheet

• Managing and collaborating accuracy of all new and reviewed QMS documents before sending for approval to Management
• Coordinating awareness campaigns according to planned schedules
• Collating Tender Responses
• Verifying accuracy of Newsflashes and Newsletters

1. Audit Management

• Coordinating the planning and collating of audit schedule
• Supervising Audit sign off and driving of implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Training and upskilling of internal Auditors
• Participating in preparation and execution of annual accreditation and surveillance audits

1. Document Management

• Managing structure and upload of SharePoint
• Recording best business practice of Control of Documents and Records

1. Quality Monitoring and control management

• Engaging with Management and Process owners ensuring participation
• Collating Training sessions & Awareness campaigns
• Managing Non-Conformances and Opportunity of Improvements to closure, updating all actions and index
• Overlooking the training of new Employee Induction
• Upskilling of Quality team

1. Reporting – coordination and analysis of all SHEQ reports

• Collating all reporting for Exco
• Organizing all reporting for SHEQ monthly meetings
• Compiling Management Review presentation
• Document Progress input into Compliance Committee meetings (for Div Manager)
• Aligning to Regulative and Legislative compliance

• Matric Grade 12 (Compulsory)
• Certified ISO9001:2015 Awareness, Implementation and Lead Auditor
• MS Office
• SharePoint administration
• Smartsheet creation (alerts and reports)    Compulsory/ Required Certifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a ISO 9001 Quality administration role
• At least 2 years in a Supervisory or Team lead capacity – imperative on the management of systems and employees
• Unassisted reporting to Top Management, the ability to reconcile, data analyze and initiate and innovate improvements
• Exposure to management of Quality Management Systems
• Training and presentation to all levels within an organization

• Professional certification such as CQA (Certified Quality Auditor)
• Experience with other management system standards (ISO 14001, 45001, 27001)
• Experience with Smartsheet
• General financial knowledge and reconciliation ability

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, peers, and Top management.
