Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation and maintenance of document control system (MasterControl) which includes reviewing and updating documentation for the manufacturing site (policies, work instructions, control plans, etc.).
- Food safety and quality training for orientation of new employees, including administration of required comprehension tests.
- Monitoring and updating of required annual food safety and quality trainings for the manufacturing site with weekly reports to management team of completion.
- Formal training of Quality Auditor team, including management of Concordance testing administration and results.
- Administration and management of RPS Concordance testing and results.
- Implementation and management of proficiency testing to maintain Quality Auditor skills.
- Formal training of Quality Lead team, including implementation and management of proficiency testing to maintain skillsets necessary for the position.
- Management of weekly quality tiered audits, including completion reports and action tracking of findings.
- Back up to the laboratory technician for CMM testing and other laboratory testing as needed by production.
- Daily / weekly auditing of the containment process to ensure accurate documentation with reports to Quality management team of issues.
- Participation in new production testing to ensure required documentation.
- Assist with other Quality tasks as needed.
Educational and Other Skill RequirementsEducational and Other Skill Requirements:
- Strong understanding of documentation requirements for regulatory bodies (FDA, FSSC 22000, BOAH, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Quality Standards for CSI.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
