At Vestas, our Onshore Commissioning, Site Compliance & Site Quality team consists of highly skilled and dedicated supervisors supporting projects and specialist assignments across Northern & Central Europe and the UK. Working on some of the world's largest wind farm projects, our teams play a critical role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and safe execution of wind turbine installations.
Our supervisors work daily around large-scale wind turbine components, where safety, attention to detail, and strong leadership are essential. We foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development, providing an environment where talented people are encouraged to challenge themselves and grow.
You will join our Commissioning, Site Compliance & Site Quality department based in Aarhus, Denmark. As part of our Onshore Quality team, you will support project execution across a range of sites throughout Northern & Central Europe and the UK.
In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout project execution, helping to ensure the successful delivery of sustainable energy solutions worldwide.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage component inspections throughout the WTG installation, commissioning, and operational phases
  • Collaborate with the project team and customer representatives to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Coordinate quality activities to align with customer specifications and project objectives
  • Identify, document, track, and report non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution
  • Review, approve, and maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation
  • Inspect incoming site deliveries, including key components such as nacelles, towers, and blades
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to Vestas' Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001
  • 3-5 years of experience in the wind industry
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams
  • Comprehensive communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Additional information
You can be based anywhere in Denmark.
This position requires up to 180 days travel per year.
