Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
1. Responsible for organizing and implementing quality control work on the production site, ensuring that each process is carried out in accordance with inspection standards.
2. Supervise the effective implementation of on-site quality activities such as first article confirmation, inspection, sampling, and final article confirmation.
3. Responsible for identifying and preventing process quality risks, promptly identifying quality hazards, and proposing improvement measures.
4. Focus on monitoring key and special processes to ensure stable and controlled processes.
5. Supervise the isolation, identification, review, rework, repair, and disposal process of non-conforming products.
6. Responsible for the work arrangement, supervision, and management of on-site inspection positions such as IPQC, FQC, and OQC inspectors.
7. Promote continuous optimization of inspection methods, inspection efficiency, and inspection accuracy.
8. Responsible for the daily management, scheduling, work allocation, and performance evaluation of the on-site quality team.
9. Enhance the professional competence and quality awareness of inspectors, organize job training and skill coaching.
10. Standardize team workflow, enhance team execution and on-site response efficiency.
11. Train key personnel and build a stable and efficient on-site quality management team.
12. Responsible for process quality data collection, statistics, analysis, and reporting.
13. Identify key problem processes, key products, and key anomalies through data.
14. Cooperate with internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and on-site audits.
15. Promote the implementation of 5S, visual management, and standardized operations in quality management.
16. Responsible for promoting quality awareness throughout the company, strengthening employees' understanding of quality standards, process control, and abnormal feedback.
17. Promote the transformation of quality awareness from "post inspection" to "pre prevention and process control", and enhance the overall quality management level of the company.
• Bachelor ‘s Degree required within Engineering or Quality fields preferred.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification, or equivalent preferred.
• DMAIC green belt certification, or black belt preferred.
• English proficiency, both oral and written.
• More than 5 years of on-site quality management experience in large manufacturing industry, and more than 3 years of quality team management experience.
• Familiar with factory production site quality control processes, with experience in industries such as electronics, medical, and automotive product assembly lines preferred.
• Certificate for the certified auditors of ISO9001,ISO14001,ISO45001 management systems is preferred.
• Familiar with on-site management methods such as first article inspection, patrol inspection, sampling inspection, and non-conforming product control.
• Proficient in using QC seven techniques, 5Why, 8D, MSA, SPC, fishbone diagram and other quality analysis tools.
• Those who can understand drawings, inspection standards, and process documents are preferred.
• Have a deep understanding of product quality control, proficient in using quality analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
• Having excellent leadership, management, judgment, and decision-making abilities
• Good organizational and coordination skills and possessing a high sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using office software such as Excel, Word, PPT, etc., with basic data analysis skills.
