Job Description

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes within our manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and customer specifications. The Quality Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and inspectors, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily quality operations, including inspection, testing, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations (e.g., ASTM, ISO).
  • Lead quality control audits and support external inspections or certifications.
  • Train and develop quality technicians in inspection techniques and procedures.
  • Monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports; ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and support new product development.
  • Assist in managing quality-related KPIs and reporting to upper management.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, etc.).
  • Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA.
  • Familiarity with ERP and QMS systems; ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities

Education and Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role; experience in building materials is a plus.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
