About the Team

The Quality team at ZF Toluca is responsible for ensuring robust processes and zero-defect performance across manufacturing operations and new product launches. The team includes process quality engineers assigned per plant and APQP quality engineers supporting engineering changes and launches. It works closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to maintain compliance with global automotive quality standards. Collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong quality culture are at the core of the team’s mission.

What you can look forward to as Quality Superintendent:

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA, AIAG-VDA Core Tools, CQIs, and customer-specific requirements.
• Manage and coordinate process quality engineers and APQP quality engineers across plants and new product programs.
• Act as the main interface between Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, customers, and certification bodies.
• Drive compliance, process standardization, and achievement of quality KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee supplier quality activities and ensure alignment with plant and corporate quality standards.
• Promote a strong culture of operational excellence, focusing on prevention, risk mitigation, and zero defects.
• Support and lead audits (internal, external, and customer) and ensure successful certification outcomes.
• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.

Your Profile as Quality Superintendent:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive quality, including at least 3 years leading teams.
• Strong expertise in IATF 16949 and direct involvement in certification audits.
• Proven experience with APQP, PPAP, and OEM customer requirements.
• Solid knowledge of customer complaint handling and 8D problem-solving methodology.
• Familiarity with CSR requirements of multiple global OEMs.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments (machining, welding, assembly, or similar).
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) and willingness to travel internationally.
