YOUR TASKS

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing quality assurance programs and establishing standards to ensure the highest level of product quality.
  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping in line with the company's quality certification.
  • Create, implement, and maintain quality objectives and ensure they align with the company's business goals and mission.
  • Develop and maintain data collection systems that optimizes efficiency and data quality, analyzing this for process improvements.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, reporting back results to the Quality Process Control (QPC) Manager.
  • Coordinate the investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, utilizing root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvements, testing, and inspection.
  • Maintain the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
  • Play an active role in the production phase, ensuring quality checkpoints are observed and documented, and perform final quality reviews before goods are shipped.
  • Assist in maintaining certifications and identifying any areas where training/certifications are required to meet quality standards.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams and departments to ensure sufficiency of quality protocols and manage and resolve any emerging production process issues.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lead improvement initiatives related to quality control and assurance.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Salary Range: $58,000-$64,000
  • A Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or a similar field preferred.
  • At least 1-year experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing setting, but if you've just completed a relevant internship, don't hesitate to apply.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection protocols, regulatory requirements, and tools such as root cause analysis or statistical process control. We're committed to helping you learn and grow!
  • Possession of or interested in pursuing professional certifications like Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt. We offer support and training for certifications!
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is key, especially Excel, plus any experience with ERP systems. If you're tech-savvy and ready to learn, we'll provide the training you need.
  • You're a good communicator, able to explain complex concepts in simple terms and share information effectively with diverse teams.
