Our client, aleading global manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Specialistto support manufacturing excellence by developing and improving production processes, documentation, and quality systems.
This role works closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure accurate work instructions, effective implementation of engineering changes, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and improvemanufacturing work instructions and processdocumentation
Create visualassemblyaidsbased on engineeringdrawings and CAD files
Support Engineering and Productionwithtroubleshooting and root causeanalysis
Conduct layeredprocessaudits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Manage engineering change implementation (APQP) and documentationcontrol
Drive continuousimprovement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and standard work
Support newproductintroductions by developingefficientmanufacturingprocesses
Assist withauditreadiness and corrective action activitieswithin the Quality Management System
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, orprocessimprovement
Associate'sorBachelor'sdegree in a technicalfieldpreferred
Experience creating work instructions and processdocumentation
Knowledge of ISO 9001 qualitymanagementsystems
Ability to readengineeringdrawings and bills of materials (BOMs)
Strong problem-solving, root causeanalysis, and organizational skills
Experience with Lean, 5S, standard work, orcontinuousimprovementmethodologiespreferred
Basic CAD knowledgeor the ability to interpretengineeringdrawingspreferred
