  • Responsible for ensuring that products meet quality specifications through effective inspection and testing

processes. Monitor the quality of transformers and their components throughout all phases of manufacturing,

complying with internal, customer, and industry standards. Execute timely quality control activities and deliver data-driven insights to support manufacturing excellence and minimize defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement, Lean, and 5S initiatives
  • Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances
  • Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate quality data, reports, and records
  • Support QMS implementation and ISO compliance
  • Participate in audits, process reviews, and risk assessments
  • Conduct electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections
  • Support supplier quality and supplier development initiatives
  • Perform inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products
  • Promote safety and comply with HSE standards

Qualifications

  • US CITIZENSHIP Required
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Experience with root cause analysis and quality tools (8D, FMEA)
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing environments
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
  • Experience in transformer or heavy manufacturing
  • Familiarity with advanced quality tools
