Job Description

Working closely with Operations and cross‑functional teams, they help ensure that materials, manufacturing processes, and documentation comply with internal procedures and global regulatory requirements.

We are now looking for a Quality Specialist to join ourQuality Inspection, Product Release and Document Control team in Liège. In this role, you will support inspection activities, review manufacturing documentation, and help maintain quality system documentation to ensure our products meet established specifications before reaching the market.

What to expect:

  • Perform inspection of incoming raw materials, components and finished kits to ensure compliance with Hologic specifications.
  • Support product release activities by reviewing batch records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Perform approval and final release of less complex finished product documentation using the ERP system.
  • Review labelling components and ensure documentation is complete and compliant prior to product release.
  • Maintain inspection and laboratory records according to established procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance of the Quality Inspection area according to written protocols (e.g., cleaning and equipment maintenance).
  • Review documentation and data for compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.
  • Initiate Non‑Conformance Events (NCEs) related to Quality Inspection, Product Release and Quality Management System activities.
  • Assist in CAPA and quality improvement activities where required.
  • Support internal and external audits, including participation in walk‑around audits and providing supporting documentation.
  • Perform compliance activities such as QA holds and retain handling.
  • Assist with maintaining and reporting departmental quality metrics.
  • Support the Document Control process by reviewing, routing and approving Quality System documents according to established procedures.
  • Assign and manage training materials in line with defined training requirements.
  • Ensure Quality System documentation is maintained in a secure, organized and retrievable manner.

What we expect:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field.
  • Some experience of working in a quality, laboratory, or regulated environment.
  • Basic knowledge of GMP environments and ISO quality standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to work with electronic systems such as ERP or eQMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of sampling plans and inspection activities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong learning mindset and motivation to develop within a quality role.
  • Fluency in English and French.
