Job DetailsJob Location: Green Circle Growers Inc - OBERLIN, OH 44074Job Category: QA - Quality ControlAs a Quality Assurance team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the product meets the established standards set by customer expectation. You will perform quality inspections and are responsible for reporting any discrepancies. Additionally, you must be flexible in handling workload changes, interruptions, and able to return to the task that you were performing. Position will report directly to the Inventory/Production Control Manager. Interacts with sales, greenhouse operations and shipping.
JOB DUTIES:
Audit plants being packaged for plant spec and customer expectations, ensure the plant packaging plan is being executed
Verify Pick Ticket BOM and ensure correct UPC, pot and tag are being used
Report and work with facility management team to correct any discrepancies found
Create and maintain reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
Verify 80% or more of daily orders for accuracy against customer expectation
Daily audits of all packaging carousels and ecommerce department
Cover multiple facilities daily, float to other facilities as needed
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS and education requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 years combined warehouse/inventory control experience
Strong PC skills including Excel, Word, and Teams
Good math, reading, communication (both verbal and written), and problem-solving skills
Ability to pay attention to small detail to ensure accuracy
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Knowledge and experience in Quality Systems preferred (NAV experience a plus)
Sound judgement and decision-making skills
Must be a self-starter, energetic, and results-oriented
Flexible to handle multiple and diverse tasks
Ability to work with all levels of employees and management

Climate controlled office or home office environment
Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
Frequently requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, and handling
Occasionally requires walking, climbing stairs, lifting (up to 20lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
Rarely requires climbing
