Quality Sourcing Specialist

We are looking for a Quality Sourcing Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Department in our business unit Bolton Food based in Italy.

How you make the difference

You will lead the qualification and monitoring of all suppliers, ensuring compliance with Bolton Food’s quality and food safety standards through audits, production oversight, risk assessments, and accurate documentation, while collaborating closely with suppliers and internal factories to proactively manage quality risks.

How your agenda looks like:

  • You will lead the supplier homologation process, ensuring compliance with regulations, internal procedures, and global quality and food safety standards;
  • You will schedule and conduct supplier audits, monitor performance, and follow up on corrective actions;
  • You will supervise on-site activities, including production, shipments, port arrivals, and inventory inspections, ensuring products meet quality and release criteria;
  • You will provide technical support to suppliers on quality control, food safety, and production processes, particularly for new product launches;
  • You will manage customer complaints, perform root cause analyses, and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with internal departments and suppliers;
  • You will maintain and update supplier documentation, technical specifications, KPIs, and reports in compliance with company procedures and quality standards.

Your team:

You will become part of the Quality Team in Cermenate Plant, reporting to the Quality Sourcing Manager Europe & AO.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science & Technology, Fisheries, or related field;
  • 2–3 years of experience in food production, quality, or supplier management;
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, HACCP, and food certifications (ISO, BRC, IFS);
  • Experience in internal auditing, quality control, and supplier audits;
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills;
  • Excellent communication and relationship management with internal teams, suppliers, and clients;
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance;
  • Ability to work in dynamic, cross-cultural, and international environments;
  • Proficiency with digital tools and reporting systems;
  • Previous experience in new product launches or technical support to suppliers is a plus.
