Job Description

Job purpose:

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the total quality management system (TQMS) in line with SABS ISO 9001, SABS ISO 14001 and SABS ISO 18001.
  • Formulates and maintains policy and procedures in this regard, ensuring that all products and services meet quality standards as per ISO. ·
  • Directs the inspection activity, in manufacturing, in the testing of materials from the raw state through to the finished product to ensure conformity to the prescribed quality standards and ensures that any deviations are reported quickly and accurately.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • Degree in Quality / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical
  • Six Sigma Training (Would be an advantage)
  • At least 5 years Quality Management experience in a similar environment (Engineering / Manufacturing)
  • Quality Auditing Internal and External Suppliers
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong Computer Literacy
