Job Description

At Ingram, the Operations team serves a key role within the organization. We ensure that our distribution centers and warehouse facilities function at maximum efficiency.   • Monitors programs designed to maintain/improve product quality.
  • Inspects books at various stages of the production process and compiles audit findings to determine compliance with standards, policies, processes and procedures.
  • Performs 28 Quality checklist items required on a per shift basis.
  • Conducts 100% inspections at all phases of the manufacturing process on replacement orders when requested.
  • Recommends modifications and improvements to systems and procedures.
  • Assists in the evaluation and resolution of quality, waste and manufacturing issues.
  • Helps coordinate ongoing quality improvements within LSI’s manufacturing process.
  • Provides recommendations to QS Training Specialists on training needs.
  • Assists with the monitoring of waste streams in manufacturing process including daily input into waste collection spreadsheets.
  • Compiles and analyzes statistical data as part of root cause analysis to determine cause and origin of waste.
  • Assists with the evaluation of equipment performance as it relates to utilization of equipment and materials.
  • Helps develop and implement projects designed to reduce waste of materials and/or time.
  • Conducts quality-related presentations during monthly Safety and Quality Huddles and New Hire Onboarding when requested.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6-12 months printing-related experience, in a book manufacturing setting

Additional Information

A Shift: Sunday- Tuesday + every other Saturday

Hours: 7am-7pm
