Volunteers of America–Greater New York (VOA–Greater New York) is a leading anti-poverty organization serving neighbors in need across New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Westchester. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

Position: Quality Services Coordinator

The Quality Services Coordinator is responsible for the quality activities for the Youth and Family Services and the Adult Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Services programs. This person will assist in organization-wide quality activities under the direction of the Director of Quality Services within the Quality Assurance & Research Team.

Location: Rahway, NJ 07065

Minimum Qualifications:
• The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, two years of experience in support of social service programs, and demonstrated ability in the areas of written and verbal communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
• Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Experience with diverse community populations including young adults and adults with behavioral health needs, New Jersey regulatory bodies, New Jersey Medicaid, and/or Managed Care is highly preferable.
• Knowledge of electronic health record applications is a plus.

Quality Services Coordinator Principal Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to the Director in daily quality service operations of Northern New Jersey programs.
2. Collaborates with program teams during accreditation periods. Provide training and guidance to program teams in accreditation standards during off-cycle timeframes.
3. Collaborates with program teams during licensure reviews. Provide training and guidance to program teams in licensure, government partner, and organizational standards.
4. Works closely with the Director to prepare for and facilitate monthly and quarterly meetings including but not limited to site safety, incident review, performance improvement, and infection control.
5. Primary contact for AWARDS Help Desk inquiries; finding resolutions and providing support.
6. Supports the Quality Assurance & Research department with other organization-wide activities including but not limited to internal audits, mock surveys, individual served satisfaction surveys, program outcomes, policy review and other performance improvement initiatives as assigned.
