The Quality Receiving Technician ensures all incoming materials, components, and services meet company and regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards by verifying documentation, inspecting received items, and coordinating the proper handling of non-conforming materials.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Receive and accept incoming shipments and materials.
  • Verify that received items meet purchase order requirements and specifications.
  • Review and validate all accompanying documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform receiving inspections and document completion appropriately.
  • Coordinate the movement of accepted materials to designated locations.
  • Identify, segregate, and manage non-conforming items; collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Notify appropriate departments when materials are received and ready for use.
  • Handle hazardous materials in accordance with all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Perform FAA safety-sensitive inspection functions as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for urgent or AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations requiring expedited handling.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability for processes, proactively addressing challenges and driving solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying and implementing Lean practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members when needed.
  • Partner with management and stakeholders to improve processes and ensure compliance.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to learn and follow company receiving and quality procedures.
  • Successful completion of required training certifications prior to performing inspections.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; RAMCO experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling practices preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data and documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Willingness to learn forklift operation and support operational needs as required.
