Customer Project Execution (CPX) Quality Deployment & Readiness (Formerly Construction Quality) is a department within Vestas Quality, that has the purpose of ensuring the robustness in QMS for meeting quality objectives and targets in construction. Also acts as point of contact for QMO organizations for Construction Quality Matters. Ensure preventive QA in Construction by means of Baseline Package Implementation check, verification of readiness internally and with external subcontractor and closed lifecycle loop with product and modules owner team. The department consists of Quality Readiness Leads with primary engagement in new development projects, Quality Deployment Leads with engagement with Vestas QMO teams supporting regional Quality teams and Centralized NC team who manages internal NCs accross value chain including QBD escalation management.

Responsibilities

  • To support in close loop quality control of Construction historical issues and risk in new projects via CPX Baseline Package (CBP)
  • Conduct Maturity assessments of CBP deliverables like PFMEA, CP, MSA, CTQ, Inspection plans, Inspection forms, etc., and report it via QASL to project leadership organization
  • Escalate to project manager and SteerCo, if quality risk from previous projects are carried over without being addressed in project scope
  • Attend and contribute to cross project/product alignment meetings
  • Represent Quality Construction in Lifecycle Quality forums, to ensure adherence to the project process execution and assurance of quality deliverables
  • To follow Vestas One Quality team strategic roadmap & ensuring that performances are on track and to trigger mitigation plans in case of variance from targets
  • Secure Construction NC team conducting problem solving in relation to NCs arising in projects thru i.e., 8D, DMAIC, 5Why etc and will implement corrective and preventive action on High importance/ High recurrence cases
  • Transmit a proactive approach towards QA, rather than reactive towards QC. Secure necessary actions are triggered and followed up on detected deviations in project execution area

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree and 10+ years of experience in projects quality & Operations field in Wind Construction Onshore or Offshore or Service projects
  • Six Sigma certification / Project Management certification
  • ISO 9001-certified or knowledgeable
  • Good and effective communication skills (English will be the baseline language)

Competencies

  • Must be focused on change, improvement, and driving results
  • More than 5 years of Project Quality working experience
  • Customer focus, effective problem-solving capabilities, solid collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with cross-functional leaders in a large, multinational organizations
  • Stakeholder Management and effective communication. Customer Quality engagement & partnership management
  • Knowledge of relevant quality tools and methodologies
  • Process-oriented and strategic-minded
  • Comfortable working at height
