A Snapshot of Your Day (Quality Professional - Digital Grid / HV Business)

As a Quality Professional, you will play a crucial role in driving quality excellence across Siemens Energy's High Voltage, Digital Grid, FACTS, HVDC, and Project businesses. You will act as a trusted quality advisor to management and cross-functional teams, ensuring that quality management systems, processes, and compliance frameworks are effectively implemented and continuously improved.

In this role, you will lead strategic quality initiatives, support supplier quality management, oversee audits and regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. You will collaborate closely with project teams, suppliers, manufacturing units, and business stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction, product quality, operational performance, and sustainable business growth. We are looking for an experienced quality professional with strong expertise in High Voltage electrical systems, quality management systems, supplier quality, audits, and process excellence who can drive quality transformation and support Siemens Energy's commitment to operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and drive the quality strategy for the assigned business scope, aligning quality objectives with organizational goals and customer expectations.
  • Ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including process management and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Lead strategic quality programs and monitor their effectiveness, enabling continuous improvement across projects, factories, suppliers, and business operations.
  • Act as a quality advisor to management and stakeholders, promoting quality culture, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business performance.
  • Develop and implement professional non-conformity (NC) management processes, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned programs.
  • Drive quality methods, risk management practices, and quality gates across projects, products, and organizational processes.
  • Lead product safety-related quality activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Manage supplier quality initiatives, including supplier development, vendor assessments, factory acceptance tests (FAT), material inspections, and franchise audits.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and continuous compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop quality reporting frameworks, management reviews, dashboards, and performance metrics to support informed business decisions.
  • Promote awareness of Quality Management Systems through training programs, workshops, lessons learned sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support process improvement initiatives across the Business Unit by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, customer satisfaction, EHS performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure alignment between quality, project excellence, supplier management, and EHS objectives to support sustainable business growth.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on products, services, and business operations.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, project management, manufacturing, and service teams to achieve quality excellence.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Quality Management, High Voltage products, projects, or services.
  • Certification in ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards, with strong understanding of quality management principles and compliance requirements.
  • Audit experience exceeding 200 hours, including planning, execution, reporting, and closure of internal and external audits.
  • Strong understanding of High Voltage electrical systems with hands-on experience in engineering, design, execution, testing, commissioning, or project coordination.
  • Domain expertise in High Voltage equipment, substations, FACTS, HVDC systems, transmission projects, or related energy infrastructure businesses.
  • Experience in supplier quality management, vendor development, supplier audits, and factory acceptance testing activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management tools, continuous improvement methodologies, Lean management principles, and risk management techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and quality compliance frameworks applicable to the energy industry.
  • Sound understanding of project management principles and the integration of quality practices within project execution environments.
  • Proficiency in High Voltage product testing, engineering processes, design practices, and instrumentation & control applications.
  • Experience in developing quality documentation, quality assurance plans, process manuals, management review systems, and quality reporting mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, inspire teams, share best practices, and drive sustainable business improvements.
  • Professional proficiency in English with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site evaluations, supplier audits, vendor inspections, customer engagements, and project quality assessments.
