Job Description

The Quality Operations Technician applies developed analytical skills and the application of scientific methods to perform a variety of activities.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Quality Function Coordination & Documentation
    • Manage all Quality function deliverables, including submission, tracking, and closure through iDoc or other project document control systems.
    • Maintain organized records of Quality documents such as procedures, reports, registers, trackers, and logs.
  • Meeting Management

    • Arrange and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly meetings within the Quality team and with the Client.

    • Prepare agendas, track attendance, ensure venue/virtual setup, and follow up on action items.

    • Support Quality leads in preparing Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and ensuring timely circulation and closure of actions.

  • Reporting & Follow-Up

    • Follow up with Quality function leads/teams to ensure timely submission of:
      • MOM
      • Monthly Reports
      • Audit Reports
      • CATR (Corrective Action Tracking Report)
    • Support consolidation and verification of all reports before submission.
  • Notifications & Communication

    • Issue inspection notifications, audit notifications, and other Quality-related communications to internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
    • Ensure proper formatting, distribution, and acknowledgment tracking.
  • Coordination With Other Project Functions

    • Liaise with administration teams of other project departments for day‑to‑day support such as:
      • Meeting scheduling
      • Venue arrangements
      • Interdepartmental communication
      • Document transfer and coordination
  • NCR / CAR & KPI Support

    • Provide required inputs to the Quality Operations team for:
      • NCR (Non-Conformance Report) tracking
      • CAR (Corrective/Preventive Actions)
      • KPI (Key Performance Indicators) measurement
    • Assist in maintaining NCR/CAR trackers and follow-up logs.
  • Data Compilation & Reporting

    • Compile, validate, and organize data required for KPI reporting and other project performance metrics.
    • Maintain monthly dashboards or summaries as required by management.
  • Presentation Preparation

    • Prepare professional presentations for various Quality forums, including:
      • QSTM (Quality Steering Team Meeting)
      • MRM (Management Review Meeting)
      • LL Workshops (Lesson Learned Workshops)
      • Quality Campaigns and Awareness Sessions
  • Logistics & Administrative Support

    • Manage all logistical arrangements for the Quality team, including:
      • Gate pass requests and renewals
      • Travel arrangements for site visits, audits, and trainings
    • Coordination of resources needed for Quality events, workshops, and campaigns.
  • Act as a focal point for relevant craft supervisors to access current information related to standards and codes, technical publications, inspection tools, and measuring instruments

  • Ensure all inspection forms are off a standard format and completed monthly
  • Maintain Quality records and relative Codes/Standards
  • Focal point between facility/vessel and Administrative Office regarding the status of Corrective Action Register Issues
  • Assist in establishing a process to measure non-conformances, i.e., production delays, unscheduled helicopter flights, redundant vessel movements, etc.
  • Assist as directed with ISO:9001, ISO: 14001, ISM, and ISPS code audit prep and CAR closures
  • Act as a focal point to help expedite facility issues relevant to Quality
  • Assist with facility/vessel Key Performance Indicator measurements
  • Maintain registers on the following: ladders, below hook lift devices, CAR, training, and MSDS

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills
  • Organized and disciplined individual with well-developed communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to deal effectively with operational management throughout the organization
