Job Title: Quality Control Inspector – Entry Level
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet specified quality standards through inspection, measurement, and documentation. This role involves performing final inspection of valves, dimensional checks, incoming material inspection, and maintaining proper quality records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform final inspection of valves as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
Conduct dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
Inspect spares and components to ensure compliance with defined requirements.
Carry out incoming inspection of raw materials and purchased items.
Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
Perform documentation verification, including test certificates, material certificates, and inspection reports.
Ensure proper traceability and filing of quality documents.
Demonstrate enthusiasm to learn quality control processes, tools, and standards.
Participate in training and improvement initiatives to enhance inspection skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
Diploma in Mechanical.
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection methods.
Understanding of basic quality control concepts.
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
Experience
0–3 years (Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can apply).
