The Opportunity
As a Quality Officer, you’ll support and continually improve our City Management System (CMS), helping teams work smarter, stay compliant, and reduce risk. You’ll be hands on with documentation, auditing, and process improvement, working closely with people across all areas of the business. Your Key Responsibilities
• Support the coordination and delivery of internal and external ISO audits, including preparation, scheduling, auditing, report writing and close out activities
• Track, manage, and support the timely closure of corrective actions arising from audits, risk reviews, and non conformances
• Contribute to CMS reporting, process mapping, and continual improvement initiatives across the business
• Support business risk and compliance activities, including risk registers, regulatory monitoring, and stakeholder queries
• Support with maintaining City’s documents and records within InfoCentre, ensuring they are accurate, current, and easy to access
What We’re Looking For
• Tertiary qualification in quality, business, risk, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Internal or lead auditor qualification (e.g. ISO9001), or willingness to obtain this within an agreed timeframe.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001 essential; other ISO experience desirable)
• Strong document and records management capability (SharePoint / MS Teams)
• High attention to detail with strong written communication skills
• Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Word
