Manage quality documents, procedures, and work instructions.
Oversee product and process quality control across the full production lifecycle.
Use quality tools (FMEA, PPAP) to analyze defects, reduce variability, and improve processes.
Collaborate with Production/Engineering/R&D to ensure quality in NPD and process design.
Manage supplier quality: audits, evaluations, CAPA, and supplier performance improvement.
Handle customer complaints, lead root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Monitor quality KPIs (PPM, returns, warranty claims) and report insights to management.
Lead and develop the quality team; provide quality training across the organization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce defects and costs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Quality-related field.
7-10 years in quality management with 3-5 years in leadership in manufacturing or regulated industries.
Strong experience in QMS, internal/external audits, and ISO/IATF certification.
Proficient in quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Lean Six Sigma.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.
Experience using QMS/ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
