Job Description

Albert Bartlett is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager for our backshift team to uphold the highest quality standards in our production processes. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance during the evening hours, ensuring our products maintain exceptional quality and safety standards as they progress through the production line.

Your leadership and expertise will guide our quality assurance team through rigorous monitoring and evaluation of operational processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues as they arise and implement effective corrective actions to enhance our quality management systems.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality management operations during backshift hours, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the quality assurance team in monitoring production processes, conducting audits, and addressing quality concerns.
• Provide training and support to backshift staff on quality assurance protocols and food safety practices.
• Analyze quality metrics and develop reports for management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance overall product quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality management within the food production industry, preferably in a backshift or night operation.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and food safety regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Hands-on experience in conducting quality audits and assessments.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with quality management software and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• HACCP certification and experience with BRC or similar standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
