The Quality Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating work systems to ensure that the products or services of the organization meet both external and internal quality standards, including regulatory compliance and customer expectations, and that the working practices of the company are delivered to the safety standards implemented.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and improve the organization's integrated Quality management system. Lead the drive for continual improvement of the Quality control processes.
  • Advises management and assists with the implementation of new or existing Quality related legislation, rules and organization standards.
  • Full responsibility in retaining all current quality accreditations and work towards the attainment of new quality accreditations. Responsibility for organization preparations for periodic audits and effective and timely closure of preventive and corrective actions.
  • Establish systems to monitor customer complaints to ensure that issues are permanently addressed in an effective and prioritized manner through the identification of root causes and establishment of controls.
  • Develop and coordinate annual quality management review, and prepare reports for monthly update.
  • Coordinates for supplier audits, product inspection and testing and other related inspection/testing to ensure the compliance of acceptance and guidelines
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance requirements for test equipment are fulfilled in the department.
  • Managing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance product or service quality. Collaborating with other departments to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Providing training and support to employees on quality-related matters when needed.
  • Investigating customer complaints or quality incidents and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring that working practices adhere to safety standards and regulations.
  • It is not possible to enumerate all duties, but your scope covers all Quality related responsibilities. Your duties will also extend to other departments as and when required

Key functional competencies and relevant experience

  • Possess relevant qualification, in either Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of at least 2 – 5 years in a manufacturing environment or related field.
  • Knowledge of management system standards ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001.
  • Aptitude for statistical analysis.
  • Goal-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, confident, proactive, and initiative. The ability to be flexible, decisive, and quick-thinking.
  • Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines and handle multiple financial tasks and projects.
  • High level of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Committed and have displayed a sense of urgency in responding to customers.
  • Exposure to Multinational Culture | Work Environment.
