Overview:

In this role you will be responsible for leading the plant Quality Team and supporting Operations in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and implementation of new products and changes. You will serve as the Quality voice for projects affecting Kyiv Plant, proactively assess quality risks and define mitigation actions, ensure specification compliance and line qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Driving implementation of Quality standards, procedures, strategies and global initiatives at the plant level
  • Build robust Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards as well as ISO 9001:2015 standards that drive continuous improvement in Quality performance;
  • Working closely with Site Manager, Regional Quality Director and Regional Business Leads on priorities, objectives, strategies and KPI’s and drive delivery at the plant level;
  • Lead and manage Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance/Control activities and the Quality Team at the Plant Level;
  • Plan and implement quality assurance activities for new products and changes, including specification and technical reviews, line trials and validations, development of quality success criteria, and preparation of related quality documentation and reports;
  • Partner with cross-functional Factory and Project teams on Quality Engineering activities, including statistical analysis, Production Line Qualifications and product quality compliance validations;
  • Lead and support Quality Incidents and Escalations through deep root cause investigation, Corrective and Preventive Action planning, implementation and validation;
  • Analyze quality data and monitor KPIs to identify quality losses, support cost reduction and prioritize quality improvement projects;

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline, such as chemical or physical science, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management Systems;
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG,
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a Quality team, with demonstrated ability to coach, develop and motivate others.
  • Solid understanding of quality laboratory testing and Quality Management Systems;
  • Experience in problem solving, process control, process capability;
  • Proficient understanding of validation, calibration and preventive maintenance programs;
  • At least Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and oral;
