Quality Manager
Company:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Quality Manager (Level K) for locations throughout the Puget Sound ( Everett, Renton, Tukwila, Puyallup and Auburn, Washington).
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services, and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations
Develop and execute business plans, policies, and procedures, as well as organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provide education and coaching on the Quality Management System
Make airworthiness or compliance-related determinations, as applicable to the role and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
Acquire and manage resources while leading process improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports
Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve performance goals and support career growth
Lead and support cross-functional collaboration to achieve team and program objectives
Promote standard work, lean principles, and continuous improvement practices within the team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Aviation, Aerospace, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, or Supplier Quality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience working with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System
3+ years of experience working with and supporting a Quality Management System (QMS)
Experience with root cause analysis and systematic problem solving
Strong communication and collaboration skills
