Quality Manager

Your Role

As a Project Quality Manager, you’ll be a key point of contact for the Project Delivery team, providing leadership and oversight across project quality systems, processes, audits and compliance activities throughout engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover phases of the project.

You’ll:

• 
  Establish and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan and supporting quality assurance processes across all phases of project delivery
• 
  Lead project quality systems and provide QA/QC support to construction and commissioning teams across project and site activities
• 
  Develop and implement internal and contractor audit programs to ensure compliance with quality standards, contract requirements and regulatory obligations
• 
  Coordinate external audits and oversee the close-out of audit findings, non-conformances and corrective actions
• 
  Establish and manage defects and punchlist systems, including monitoring and reporting on close-out activities
• 
  Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality plans, processes, systems and tools
• 
  Chair quality meetings, facilitate root cause workshops and support contractor progress meetings on quality matters
• 
  Oversee project document handover requirements to support transition to asset management
• 
  Monitor and report on NCRs, ITP progress, defects and overall construction quality performance to the Construction Director

You’ll Need

• 
  Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
• 
  Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining quality management systems within large-scale infrastructure, construction or engineering projects
• 
  Strong understanding of quality management systems, auditing processes and relevant industry standards
• 
  Training and/or auditing qualifications
• 
  Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
• 
  Experience working within complex matrix environments and multidisciplinary project teams
• 
  Familiarity with quality management software and document control systems
• 
  A collaborative and adaptable approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
• 
  A high level of computer literacy
