Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the management and maintenance of the company's quality system documentation; lead or participate in the establishment and updating of company and departmental documents.
- Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 systems, ensuring their effective operation within the company; report system performance and improvement requirements to senior management.
- Execute daily quality management and food safety operations; implement quality policies, objectives, and targets; conduct effective monitoring around the quality management system to uphold the company's high-quality reputation.
- Organize and arrange training on quality and food safety to enhance the awareness of all employees regarding quality and food safety.
- Promote the construction of the company's quality culture and organize regular Food Safety Team meetings.
- Support and host quality audits conducted by government bodies, customers, and second/third parties. This includes training on key customer audit requirements, pre-audit self-inspections, on-site support during audits, and closing out findings; follow up on the implementation of corrective actions for non-conformities.
- Ensure product release complies with product specifications, national laws, regulations, and national food safety standards.
- Drive change management within the factory; promote risk assessments related to quality changes and ensure the implementation of corresponding measures.
- Drive continuous quality improvement; assist relevant departments in completing quality improvements to achieve product stability and enhancement. Lead quality deviation analysis and implementation of improvement measures; conduct food safety analyses on quality deviations and coordinate the Food Safety Team for assessment and judgment.
- Manage the company's annual Management Review; complete monthly quality reports and relevant data analysis.
- Handle communication and coordination regarding quality issues with customers; support the processing and coordination of customer quality complaints to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Establish necessary connections with relevant government agencies, associations, and consulting service organizations.
- Lead and manage other tasks assigned within the department.
Job Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Over 10 years of experience in the food industry, with at least 8 years in the Quality Department of international food companies and 5+ years of managerial experience in Quality.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and food regulations.
- Proven experience in quality and team management; strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and influence the team to achieve set projects and objectives.
- A proactive and positive "Can-do" attitude.
- Professional proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
