Job Description

Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the organization’s quality management system across all operational areas, including warehouse, remanufacturing, logistics, and field services. This role ensures that products, processes, and services consistently meet internal quality standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The Quality Manager partners closely with Operations, Project Management, and Field Leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives, reduce defects and rework, strengthen process consistency, and support accountability across the organization. This role plays a critical part in maintaining CellSite Solutions’ quality and safety standards, enhancing customer confidence, supporting compliance efforts, and enabling operational scalability and long-term growth.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train quality assurance staff.
  • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide quality assurance processes and standards.
  • Establish measurable quality benchmarks across production, remanufacturing, and field operations.
  • Ensure consistency of quality controls from inbound materials through final delivery.
  • Oversee inspection programs for materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
  • Implement and lead internal audit processes for quality and compliance.
  • Analyze inspection and testing data to identify trends, defects, and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and recurring defects.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce rework, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and applicable federal/state regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and applicable standards.
  • Support external audits and customer quality reviews.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, inspection logs, and reporting dashboards.
  • Track and report key quality metrics (defects, rework rates, audit findings, etc.).
  • Review customer feedback and integrate insights into process improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational capability.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication skills across field and executive teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or operations.
  • Experience in telecommunications, construction, manufacturing, or related field required.
  • Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred; quality certification (e.g., ASQ) and/or audit experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with regular time in the field/job sites.
  • Ability to travel to project locations and job sites as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times and navigate job-site conditions, including walking uneven terrain, climbing stairs/ladders as required, and working in varying weather conditions.
